NAURU: Former president sacked from airline board. Nauru has sacked former President, Kinza Clodumar, as Chairman of Air Nauru accusing him of backing a company that is claiming Nauru owes it twenty three million Australian dollars. The company, Business Australia Corporate Finance, BACF, was commissioned by the former Nauru Government last year to refinance Nauru's debt to America's General Electric Capital Corporation. But the deal fell through and GE has now moved against Nauru, repossessing all Nauru's Australian property assets. The Nauru Parliament was given a detailed statement on the affair at a special sitting over the weekend.
