Cradle of Filth
Cradle of Filth est un groupe de Black metal anglais formé en 1991. Dans ses débuts, le groupe
change fréquemment de membres et enregistre trois démos. Cradle of Filth signe avec Cacophonous Records en
1994 et lance The Principle of Evil Made Flesh. Après d'autre changements de
membres, Cradle of Filth lance Dusk and Her Embrace sous le label Music For Nations, album
qui a obtenu du succès auprès des critiques et augmenta la popularité du groupe à travers l'Europe et parmi les amateurs de Black metal d'ailleurs.
Alors que la popularité du groupe grandit, en partie grâce à leur concerts qui deviennent de plus en plus théâtraux,
Cruelty and the Beast obtient d'excellentes critiques, mais les ventes sont décevantes et d'autre changements de membres
s'ensuivent.
